Analysis is usually qualitative, but if tsandard is supplied quantitative analysis could be made. Important Notes on Laboratory Request: · GC/MS analysis is time consuming and needs intensive work, thus analysis request should be made carefully. Indication of analysis should be perfect. · Patients’ history and his/her clinical status could help to laboratory analysis. Therefore, before and after request of analysis, communication with laboratory of toxicology is important. · In the suspect of intoxication, blood samples and absolutely urine samples should be taken immediately.
